Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost’s Elder Abuse Commission and the Elder Justice Unit have set the date for the office’s 2025 World Elder Abuse Awareness Day event. Please plan to join us on June 23 for a full day of workshops at the Fawcett Center, 2400 Olentangy River Road, in Columbus.
 
This year’s theme is “New-Age Vulnerabilities: Protecting Older Adults in a Digital Era,” with experts exploring threats to older adults and focusing on the positive use of new technology to improve lives.
 
The conference is appropriate for professionals who work with this population in the field – law enforcement, adult protective-services workers, victim advocates and others.
