The Prosecutor’s Office is hosting a public Senior Fraud and Safety Night with Jewish Family and Community Services at the JCC on November 19th. It will be a free catered event, with registration required through the JCC’s Senior Outreach Program. Doors will open at 5:00PM, and the presentation will begin between 5:30PM-5:45PM. Before and after the presentation, we would like to make local resources available to older adult participants.
Tables could be set up anytime between 4:00PM – 4:45PM.

Join Prosecutor Gina DeGenova for a night on fraud safety. The FBI reported that Ohio has the 6th highest number of fraud victims over 60 years old in the country, totaling in $51,041,223 in losses in 2022. Prosecutor DeGenova will provide information on types of fraud and scams that target older adults, strategies to protect yourself, and how to report suspected fraud. Other community agencies will be present to provide information about their services as well. Dinner will be provided. Registration required.
